What would you do if a bomb went off in Upper Street, or in the N1 Centre, or Chapel Market? How would you make sure your staff were safe? How would they react to serious injuries? Where would you direct your customers? Out into the street, or into a back room?

In these days of increased security alerts, businesses need to be able to answer those questions and our Angel Police Team are offering advice and support to BID members about how to deal with terrorist attacks, having recently run a multi-media simulation of an attack with counter terrorism experts - exclusively for levypayers.

“Terrorists all do their homework by visiting areas beforehand so businesses need to be aware of how to spot suspicious behaviour, where to report it, and what plan for the worst happening,” says Sergeant Chris Walsh (left) of the Angel Police Team.
