Liverpool Road will be closed to any northbound traffic from Monday February 21 2011 for five days, as part of TfL’s plan to improve safety for residents, shoppers and visitors to the Angel..
Cars and lorries will either be diverted north along Upper Street and left at Theberton, or south turning right at the junction with Pentonville and left at Baron Street.
The works to improve both pedestrian crossings outside Sainsbury’s and the one outside Gap over to Chapel Market will start a week earlier on February 14 – and hopefully be finished by March 7.
