If you’re horrified at the sight of another pavement being dug up, don’t be. It’s true that our partners TfL have now started work widening and repaving the pavement on the east side of Upper Street – between Camden Walk and Duncan Street – but it shouldn’t last long. And it will mean it’s safer and quicker for pedestrians on that side.
The repaving in York stone should be finished by mid-March and TfL do apologise for any inconvenience and promise they will keep disruption to a minimum, providing access to all premises at all times.
